Sofia is excited to be returning to her hometown of Chicago and to share her love of dance with others!
She grew up primarily training in jazz technique at Gus Giordano Dance School in Chicago, learning from several former Gus Giordano company members, and musical theater professionals, and performing around the city. While studying economics at Emory University, she trained for four years with School of American Ballet educators Mara Mandradjeff and Angela Harris, and performed contemporary works with Emory Dance Company as well as the student-led Emory Dance Network.
