Originally from Massachusetts, Kara started her love of dance as a competitive dancer. Time proved ballet was her true calling. From Boston Ballet to the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, Kara immersed herself in rigorous training under the guidance of esteemed mentors. She embraced numerous iconic roles, Aurora, Raymonda, Sugarplum, and Odette in Kirk Petersons Swan Lake. Her dedication eventually led her to a position of soloist with the Missouri Ballet Theatre. Within this company, she showcased her talent by executing a multitude of leading roles and directing the youth company.
Now, Kara has redirected her passion towards nurturing and guiding young dancers, serving as both a trainer and coach. Her ultimate goal is to empower these aspiring artists, helping them unlock their full potential and become the best versions of themselves.
